Meet & Greet GE Researchers at ASME Turbo 2014

Do you love gas turbine research as much as I do? Then I want to meet you next week! Since joining GE Global Research Europe almost two years ago as manager of the Thermal Sciences Lab in Munich, I have had the opportunity to work with my team on challenging projects in Aviation thermal management, advanced heat exchangers, reciprocating engines and electronics cooling for transportation and subsea applications. And just recently we started to intensify our activities on the area of gas turbine heat transfer in order to support the local businesses and our home base on their exciting new gas turbine research and development tasks.

In that context, I will attend the ASME Turbo Expo 2014, the world’s foremost conference in the field of gas turbine research and development, starting next week in Düsseldorf, together with a small subgroup of my team.

In participating at this conference, we not only will be able to discuss recent advancements in gas turbine research and development with colleagues from all over the world, but we also will be able to meet with passionate researchers who want to learn more about GE and its global Research Centers.

For this purpose, the Aero & Thermal Systems groups of GE Global Research and representatives from several GE businesses are organizing a Meet & Greet Event on Tuesday, June 17, from 5 to 8PM, in Wintergarten 2 at the Congress Center Düsseldorf, nearby the ASME Turbo exhibition area. If you are a passionate, dedicated, collaborative, and innovative technologist, you are welcome to meet and greet members of our team to learn more about GE, the global Research Centers, and how to become part of it all.
